As a Spiritual Woman Entrepreneur, I bet you’ve learned along the way how necessary self-care is, right? I mean, you probably teach your clients or patients to put their health first, to make time for fun, and to not let work take over their lives.
Yet, are you walking your talk?
Are you practicing what you preach?
Too often, those who are in service to others are the ones who struggle the most with making themselves a priority.
Are you falling into this trap?
Look, I get it… there’s so much to do!
Life is busy! People need you! You don’t have time to get away from everything just to recharge, right? I mean, life is always happening!
Sadly, though… if you don’t put you first, No One Will.
If you don’t make time to receive,
you’ll get too comfortable always being the one giving.
And if you’re always “on,” you forget how fun it is to be with people
who are ok with all of you, not just the parts that positively impact them.
That’s why I created
“Clear, Cleanse, & Claim,”
A Day Retreat for Spiritual Women Entrepreneurs.
It’s an opportunity to recharge your energy, reconnect to your purpose, and recommit to your vision.
An opportunity to commune with other powerful women who are changing the world with their work.
And with less of a time & financial investment than a usual overnight retreat, it’s a no-brainer!
After years of helping to put on Spiritual Women’s Retreats through the Centers for Spiritual Living, I’m excited to bring my experiences into holding sacred space for the powerful women who are co-creating a new world through their businesses.
Facilitated by me, Starr Sheppard-Decker, with some help from our co-host and bodyworker, Karen Hart Asbury, the day is designed to support you in:
- Clearing out old energies or ideas through sharing, process and story
- Cleansing yourself of that which no longer serves your business and/or your life
- Claiming that which you’re ready to express, experience, and/or embody
It Will Also Be a Bunch of Fun!
We’ll break up our day of spiritual practice, meditation, drumming, music, ritual, and more, with access to a private, in ground, saltwater swimming pool & hot tub!
You’ll leave with tools and practices you can use on your own to support you.
Lunch will be provided, as will time to lounge, play, swim, and create!
There will be a small shop with crystals, jewelry & altar items for sale,
plus a fun raffle (no purchase necessary – your entry is your raffle ticket)!
And while we’ll have a networking table for your biz cards & flyers, this event is NOT focused on your business or some kind of training.
It’s all about YOU, and making sure you leave feeling even MORE you than when you arrived.
Stop putting off your own self-care & spiritual practice, and join other powerful women for a
Your business, your clients, your family, and your life will be better for it.

About the Leaders
Starr Sheppard-Decker - Facilitator
Starr Sheppard-Decker will be the main facilitator of this Day Retreat, bringing her years of experience leading women through spiritual practice and transformation. She is excited to hold space and bring her best. More info about your facilitator:
Starr Sheppard-Decker is a Spiritual Leader, Professional Vocalist, Public Speaker, Founder of Radical Revelations, and Coach for Coaches & Healers going through personal crisis. Starr knows from experience how easy it is to stay stuck in survival-mode when managing both a practice and personal upheaval, so she is super passionate about holding space for and supporting these leaders who are changing the world one session at a time.
Starr has been actively seeing clients since 2009, when she became a licensed Spiritual Practitioner through the Centers for Spiritual Living, and has been studying personal and spiritual development for 20 years. She has impacted hundreds of lives through classes, presentations, interviews, retreats, music, humor, her presence, and by encouraging everyone she meets to be exactly who they are.
Called “pushy little broad” at the age of two, Starr is a natural-born leader. Over the last 15 years she has served in various leadership positions, including being on the Women’s Retreat Committee and serving as Board President at the Portland Center for Spiritual Living, being Project Manager for the Inspiring Woman Leaders Conference, and playing a vital role assisting at the annual World Domination Summit. Starr also had the honor of volunteering for many years at the Commonway Institute, run by thought leader Shariff Abdullah.
Blessed by the support of her husband of 15 years, her incredible friendships, and dozens of coaches, healers, and mentors, Starr knows how important it is to get Big Support when you have a Big Vision. When not homeschooling her youngest of three children, she continues to serve Coaches & Healers through her monthly Portland Lunch Meetups, her Facebook Community, and private and group Mentorship.
Karen Hart Asbury - Co-Host
Karen Hart Asbury is not only providing us with this beautiful space to retreat to, she’ll be leading you through some processes as well. Here’s some more about her:
Karen offers sacred healing space, and has been in private practice as a licensed massage therapist since 2011.
She believes that body, mind and spirit are inseparable and that freeing restrictions in the body is a powerful and efficient route for restoring well-being. She loves watching bodies soften and release held patterns, as another being relaxes and returns to their natural state of health.
She is particularly passionate about empowering women with reclaiming the health of their uterus and pelvic bowl, through self-care.
As a mama of teenage daughters and a former birth doula, she has a heart for serving women of all ages. She has participated in women’s circles for more than 20 years and believe in bringing all things into balance, including honoring the feminine aspects of ourselves and taking time for stillness.
Karen has traveled to Belize and trained directly with Dr. Rosita Arvigo, DN for certification and advanced skills in the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Therapy®. She has studied craniosacral therapy with Carol Gray. And she has been a Reiki Master since even before beginning massage school, so a healing presence infuses all her work.
She is a graduate of East West College of the Healing Arts in Portland and Linfield College, and a member of the AMTA. WA# MA 60205629

“Clear, Cleanse, and Claim” will be held at a Private Residence in Vancouver, WA on Saturday, August 25th.

How much of the day is unscheduled?
During the middle of the day, there will be a two-hour lunch and free-time break. This is a great time to enjoy the provided catered lunch*, relax, connect with your sisters, and swim in the saltwater pool or soak in the hot tub if you choose.

*lunch will have gluten-free, dairy-free & vegetarian options
What kind of processes will we be doing?
Processes will include, but are not limited to, drumming (bring your favorite!), guided mediation, ritual, chanting/singing, visualization, journaling, crafts, & sharing. We recommend dressing comfortably, and taking good care of you above all else.
What if I don't swim?
While many women have expressed interest in the pool and hot tub being available, swimming is not required for any of our processes. That means you are free to swim – or not swim – if it feels right to you.
What should i bring?
We’ve got you covered!
When you register, you’ll get a welcome letter with all the details you’ll need to get ready, including a list of what to bring. We want you to arrive feeling prepared and as relaxed as possible.
Can I bring my kids? Will There be childcare?
There will not be childcare provided at this event, and attendees must be 18 or over.
While I know setting up childcare for a whole day can be a challenge, I invite you to do what it takes to make it work. You’re worth a whole day that is all about you receiving, relaxing, and reconnecting with yourself.
